Posternak’s product liability practice group is focused on the defense of complex product liability claims involving serious bodily injury and significant property damage. Posternak regularly represents manufacturers, distributors and retailers on a regional and local basis in lawsuits involving claims of design or manufacturing defect, breach of warranty and failure to warn. Posternak has handled a wide variety of product liability claims involving consumer goods, industrial machinery, electrical appliances, power tools, juvenile products and automobiles. Posternak also assists clients with the investigation and litigation of claims arising out of fires allegedly caused by our clients’ products.
We have represented clients in state and federal courts in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, and before federal administrative agencies in Washington, D.C.
