Dean is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group. His practice is focused on assisting clients with identifying and procuring patent rights for a variety of technologies.
Prior to joining the law profession, Dean was a scientist at Takeda Pharmaceuticals specializing in developing new oncology treatments. Previously, Dean carried out research at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals to implement supercomputers for prediction of analytical data including vibrational circular dichroism, infra-red, and Raman spectroscopy. Dean has evaluated a variety of new technologies for practical applications in industrial settings.
